ДИКСИЛЕНДОМ ЗАВРШЕН ПЕТИ ТРЕБИЊЕ ЏЕЗ ФЕСТИВАЛ

Концертом „The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra” вечерас је у башти хотела „Платани” завршен пети Требиње џез фестивал, који је током протеклих дана окупио различите извођаче и љубитеље џеза на више препознатљивих локација у Требињу.

Завршно фестивалско вече протекло је у знаку традиционалног диксиленда и свинга, а „The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra” публици је донио препознатљив звук раног џеза, обиљежен енергичном интерпретацијом, ритмом и импровизацијом.

„The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra” основан је 2001. године и већ више од двије деценије његује традицију диксиленда, музичког правца који се развио почетком 20. вијека у Њу Орлеансу и имао важну улогу у развоју џеза. Током година оркестар је постао један од најпрепознатљивијих представника традиционалног џеза у Србији, наступајући на бројним  фестивалима и концертним сценама у земљи и иностранству.

Њихов наступ у Требињу донио је завршници фестивала ведру атмосферу, уз препознатљив звук диксиленда и енергичну свирку.

Пети Требиње џез фестивал организовао је Културни центар Требиње, уз подршку Града Требиња и Министарства просвјете и културе Републике Српске.

With the concert of “The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra”, tonight in the garden of the hotel ”Platani, finished the fifth Trebinje jazz festival, that gathered during the past days gathered different performers and lovers of jazz in numerous recognizable locations in Trebinje.

Final festival night went in the sign of traditional Dixieland and swing and “The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra” gave to the audience recognizable sound of early jazz, marked with energetic interpretation, rhythm and improvisation.

“The Belgrade Dixieland Orchestra” was founded in 2001 and for more than two decades nourishes tradition of Dixieland, music direction that developed in the start of 20tyhcenery in New Orleans and had an important role in the jazz development. During the years orchestra became one of the most recognizable representatives of traditional jazz in Serbia, performing in numerous festivals and concert stages in country and abroad.

Their performance in Trebinje brought to the final night of the festival a cheerful atmosphere with recognizable sound of Dixieland and energetic playing.

The fifth Trebinje jazz festival was organized by Cultural Centre Trebinje,with the support of the City of Trebinje and the Ministry of education and culture of Republic of Srpska.
